I'm on the 3CX basic plan and have set up SIP truck using CallCentric. I currently have two issues:

- I bought a number from Call Centric but when I call it it goes directly to voicemail. Everything on Call Centric appears to be in order and I can call out with no problem
- The second issue I have is that I have to dial a 1 in front of every number I call. For example, if my area code is 919, I have to dial 1-919 for the call to go through. Does anyone know how to change this? I assume it has something to do with E164 but I'm not sure where to find that in 3CX.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
John

The first issue may be that your provider does not see the trunk as registered, or is sending an Invite for a call but either gets no response, or an error message. If you have access to the 3CX Activity Log (Verbose), check to see if there is a log indicating an incoming call.

The second issue would normally be dealt with in the outbound rules, adding the 1 prefix before the call is sent to the provider. Some versions of 3CX do not allow access to the outbound rules and require you to dial the full number, including the 1.

Hi, what is the office hour configured in the group and also your call routing for office hours, break and out of office hours?

Did you entered the number in international format? For example 17778811960

this possible configuring an outbound rule with this prefix, however it will require a dedicated installation.

With Call Centric this is not necessary, but if you are used to dialing 1 for every call then this possible configuring an outbound rule with this prefix, however it will require a dedicated installation.
Ok the office hours fixed my first issue! Thank you so much!

As for the second issue, when I dial 333-333-3333 3CX tells me that is not a valid number, but if I use this format 1-333-333-3333 then it will let the call go through.

Is there any way to make it where it will go through by dialing the first way?

I’m afraid that the numbers will need to be dialed as Call Centric dial plan, there is not access to the outbound rules, if you want to customize outbound rules it will require a dedicated installation.
