I never have brilliant ideas, just practical ones. Most come from actually using the program every day. Most of my best ideas are on my other account that I couldn't activate when they did the big account swap.

Oh well, there's always Reddit.

Feel free to ping me or most any of the other Platinum/Titanium partners with ideas to submit on your behalf. Long term, I believe they are considering allowing Advanced Certified and maybe some others to submit Ideas.

Agreed, If an idea makes sense, im sure others will agree to be the one to represent it in the ideas section as I would as well.

I do believe there was far too much random nonsense getting posted in there, i saw a good number of posts on feature requests for things that already existed, were silly, were security risks, or even were just very obscure needs that would maybe be usefull to 1% and shouldnt be a priority to move the project forwards.. It was a mess.

So you would rather have 1000 people all shouting ideas, rather than just the people who distribute and build the most of them...? You must enjoy white noise.... I personally can understand why they did it, in any case, many of us are happy to help you nominate ideas, im sorry you don't want to have to collaborate to do that...

The problem with the Ideas forum (in it's present form), is that it has never really been easy to see if "your idea" has been posted in the past, so it gets posted again, and again, and again....

I agree that the more Ideas, the better, but in a lot of cases, it's simply a vote for an existing idea that is necessary. Limiting who can post, may prevent some good ideas, not posted previously, from ever appearing.
