Im unable to configure Telnyx Trunk in 3cx for SMS.

Hi I have checked all the configuration and I realized that the provider URL field is not showing in SMS configuration tab what should I do now? please help.

Hello,

Telnyx was removed so it is not possible to add this (and you will not see an SMS tab).
But if you are on Hosted by 3CX, we will enable Generic VoIP provider which has the SMS tab so you can add it from there.


Note: Please keep in mind that this is unsupported by 3CX, and we cannot provide assistance if you have issues.

I've configured it now but the problem I'm facing now is that when we send message to new number its not delivered but when someone send messages and if i reply on that it delivers.

Make sure your webhooks are correct on both ends.

You can also look at other threads in the SMS section with similar issues.

I would recommend switching to a Preferred/Supported provider so we can provide more assistance

Hello, to configure the 3CX SMS inbound and outbound SMS you need to create a KEY API V2 on TELNYX, and use the TELNYX Url Provider.

Don't forget the webhook on your telnyx SMS Profile.

Hey, I am trying to find telnyx option in 3cx sip trunk but no luck, is it removed again?

I don't understand why they would remove Telnyx, I have been using Telnyx for years for several of my customers and it works fine. This is very unfortunate. Will Telnyx ever be added in the future?
