Import Office365 and historic extensions

Hello to all

I have a customer who would like to move from his existing Pabx to 3CX, he is however struggling with the import.
He is importing his Office365 users into 3CX but cannot find a solution to import the existing extensions.
In fact, during the import, the extensions are automatically assigned by a sequence assigned by 3CX whereas he would like to synchronise it with the "ipPhone" field of O365.

Does he have to go through the CSV import or is there another more elegant solution for importing/syncing users?

Yes, you have to first import the users with CSV with the real extension numbers and matching email. Then when you apply MS365 it will match them up. New users can then be auto created with the starting new extension number.

@CentrexJ beat me to it, yep, that's what I would suggest too if you have a lot of users you need to import.
