Just an important reminder:

Be sure your PBX has the latest, up-to-date Apple APNS certificate installed.

Otherwise, on October 9th, when the old certificate expires, suddenly you will get complaints "my iPhone is no longer ringing, my iPhone no longer get notifications".
Please be advised.

Thank you!

Let's also take this moment to make sure that mobile apps users have the latest version from the AppStore/Play Store!

How to be sure i have the new certificates?

@bitn2
You have to check in the Management Console the "Updates" menu on top right. Maybe you already updated as we made it available since almost a month ago.

Ah ok, all my installs are up2date.

@SweetAction
For now yes, it's included only in U5. By the end of the week will be released a certificate update for U4 too.

The new APNS certificate is now available also for V18U4 via Management Console "Updates" menu.

Hello @Vali_3CX,

I'm already on version V18U4 but it purpose only to update to U5.
There is something that I can do more ?

Thanks

@Leroux.Steeve
Have you tried to refresh the Updates list? I mean, click the Updates and then click also the "settings" icon.

Can you check the version.txt in /var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Bin/Cert/Apple/ folder and tell me the number there?

I checked and it's the good one - the certificate has been updated via general update, which is performed every 2 hours.

It's the same for other version of iPhone.

What's the whole error you get there, in the screenshot above?

Yes, Event Log give me always this info for all the iPhones used here.

I assume then the PBX logging is not in verbose mode, you'll get something more detailed, like this one:

Failed to send APNS PUSH to device iPhone14,2iPhone(Ext.100). Received error from server: Status: 400, Reason: {"reason":"BadDeviceToken"}. Find more info at: https://developer.apple.com/documen...ver/handling_notification_responses_from_apns
PUSH sender ID: 50021 10/06/2022 12:37:44 PM

I need this information so I can check with my PBX teammates.
