Not every, but most inbound calls drops down after 20-30 second talk. Our sip trunks not supporting by 3cx.I had checked sip traffic with wireshark and noticed that 3cx sends "415 unsupported media type" error message to provider. After that message either provider sends BYE message and call drops or provider sends INVITE SDP message and call continues.
Thanks for help.

Since you're not using a 3CX supported SIP Provider there's probably not much we can help with but, to start off, I have to mention that this seems a bit unclear, are these inbound calls or outbound? I know you already said inbound but these look like outbound calls, which local IP is the PBX and which the SIP Provider?

The left side is IP of PBX and the right side is SIP Provider. I mathced this logs with 3cx call log. So I am nearly sure that these calls are inbound.

This proxy authentication required thing is coming from 3CX due to one of following reasons.
  1. Invalid IP on truck configurations
  2. Incoming DID not configured on 3CX etc.

Do you mean that this can be cause to call drops?

It is unfortunate that you cannot ask your provider if they made any changes around that time. That should be the first step. Without knowing for certain, you are assuming that it is something at your end that is causing this.

Were any changes/ updates made to anything at your end?

Who is the provider? (others using them may have suggestions)
Have you tried restricting the Codecs to one or two (G711)? (May not change things, but if you have time...)

Interesting that it does not happen with every call....

I added other codecs which is I saw at the sip trace but it didn't work. By default there is 3 codecs in 3cx sip trunk g711-a, g711-u and g722. Do you think remove one of them can solve issue. If so, which one ?

If the left side is the PBX then these calls are outbound calls, this you can determine by the fact that the first INVITE is sent by the PBX. Now if they are incoming calls that just got routed via the PBX out to the Provider again that's a different story.

In any case, the "415 Unsupported Media Type" message would be sent by the PBX due to the "MESSAGE" SIP message sent from the Provider, but this should not cause a call drop and from the looks of it it indeed isn't the reason. First off you have it in both call scenarios however you got different behavior between these calls and also, for the second call, the drop occurs some time after the message which further suggests it's unrelated.

All I can say for sure from the screenshot is that it is the Provider ending the call. This you can tell from who sent the "BYE" message:

I suggest you do find a way to reach out to them as only they can shed some light on the matter since it is they that end the call.

Thank you Chris. For now I don't see other way to solve this issue besides contacting with provider as you said. I will continue investigate broken calls, if I will find something suspiciously I'll let you know.

UPDATE!

Sorry for some wrong information that I shared before. Here is what is actually happening.

I took several sip trace and noticed that calls are dropping down by 3cx client. As you see to screenshot after 415 unsupported media type message 3cx client (172.17.16.51) sends BYE message. 192.168.64.82 is our 3cx server and 81.21.80.178 is provider. Over half of calls dropping down like that. Any idea that what can cause it ?

Is there a pattern to the dropped calls, like all happening from the same devices (extensions)?

Could you perhaps provide some of these captures via PM so that we can have a quick look ourselves?

Thanks all for your help. It was holiday in my country that's why I couldn't reply here.
The problem wasn't in the 3CX.The problem welded from our custom app and we solved it.
Thank you again)
