Solved Inbound Calls Straight to Speakerphone

I have a client that is having an issue with all inbound calls to her extension going straight to speaker phone. The client only uses a desk phone and the mobile app. I am unable to determine why the calls are going straight to the speaker phone. Any ideas?

Do you mean it is auto-answering on the speaker? Is she picking up the handset, yet it goes to the speaker? Which device are you talking about?

If it is the desk phone, then it sounds to be a set issue, I'm assuming a configuration setting, but could be a set "fault". Have you tried swapping with another set to see if the issue follows the set?

Its auto answering on speaker. The client is using a Yealink T46s.

Got it fixed. The issue was in the phone itself. Webbed to the phone and disabled the auto answer option.

Yealink phones have an "AA" icon on the screen to inform you that auto answer has been activated.

No doubt, someone activated it in the phone menus
