HI All,

SO I'm hoping instead of blocking calls, to forward spammers to a 'this number has been disconnected' message.

I set up an extension that essentially plays a number not in service message.

In my call log, I have:

Credence:1-###-###-#### (+15109634###)
(The first # is _MY_ number). The second # is theirs).
I've tried "+15109634###" (Obviously the real #). No go. I've tried the entire strring, no go.
Inbound Rule:
Name: Credence.
Caler ID: See above
Route Calls to:
Extension 07/Extension 07.

But it still follows the normal route.

Am I missing something?

Thanks :)

EDIT: Ohh... I think I see it. I had a conflicting EARLIER rule.
So question on this: Can I do a wildcard, ie CID: +15109634* ?

Hi @phirephoto,

Indeed you are correct, CIDs do allow wildcards. Using the wildcard mentioned in your edit above, and placing the rule at the top of its specific SIP trunk group of inbound rules (Using multiple SIP trunks, it may not look like it is first in the list, but it may be first in that specific SIP trunk's group of rules), the system will match the rule first and route the call to Extension 07 as expected.
