Setting up a remote location and have everything up and working great except that the Inbound Rule which is supposed to transfer inbound calls to the DID to a call group which contains the two remote extensions. Set up of the inbound rule seems extremely straightforward - Calls to the DID route calls to extension which is a ring group that contains the two extensions. But when I call the DID, it rings at the main office. I changed the rule to ring to one of the extensions at the remote office and to my softphone extension and it does the same thing. What am I missing? Why is the rule not working? TIA

The usual issue is that the DID number being sent does not exactly match the rule. Check the 3CX Activity Log to see what is being sent. If needed, use wildcards at the beginning of the number.

I set logging to verbose and placed a call from my cell to the DID. The second entry I pasted below shows I think that the Inbound DID is blank -

12/09/2020 2:04:19 PM - [Flow] Call(C:424): has built target endpoint: RingAll:800 for call from L:424.1[Line:10001<<303xxxxxxx]

How do I fix that?

Figured it out. Thank you.

Care to share what the issue was?

Absolutely! As you described in your first reply - apparently the called number wasn't being sent through exactly. It looked in the logs like the called number wasn't being sent on the SIP trunk at all, but I deleted the DID on the trunk (siptrunk.com) and re-added it as *<last four> and it worked.

Thanks again.
