Good Day,
We need to import a sequential block of 100 new DID's to expand our phone system. Importing the extensions by CSV is no problem, I've done that before, but when I do the Inbound rules, it has a "Priority field."
We currently have 456 Inbound rules covering the two SIP trunks we use (we're running the old and new phone systems in parallel as we cut over staff.) If I start the import with a priority of 457, this puts the new DID's below the wrong SIP trunk. They need to go in around position 236 and I don't feel like clicking the "Move Up" button several thousand times for 100 DID's.
I can export the existing rules, edit the new DID's in the proper order, delete all system rules, then import the whole thing again. Will be a lot of work, but I can do it if needed.
Or can I just leave Inbound rule Priority field blank and the system will sort it out on import based on the csv PORTS value?
Thanks.
