Hi all,

Probably a straight forward one for you all. Currently I have an inbound rule that goes directly to an extension. If this extension is set to DND or logged out the call diverts to a different extension. This extension that it diverts to isn't defined anywhere that I can see. Is it some sort of default/failover set somewhere?

Thanks,

No default. If you don't see it in 3CX then it's probably configured in the phone itself. Turning on verbose logging will tell you why the call is doing what it is doing.

thanks,

it does feel like ring group behaviour, but this extension isn't part of a ring group.

however I have noticed that the extension it calls when the primary extension is unavailable is second in the list within an extension group. Could this be where it's getting it from?

Couldn't tell you without the logs.

Is the extension that it is reach the operator extension by any chance?

no it isn't. i'll try and get some logs

sorry forget this. it's set as a forwarding rule in the extension itself. should have been the first place I looked. sorry to have wasted your time!
