incomplete dial number

I have Grandstream GXW4104 connected to the 3CX, Each time I dial a local number I receive a message that the number I am dialing is incomplete. The outbound rule that I am using is 9 with one r. Any idea

Can you post the messages in the server status page when you get this error.

It should look something like this

13:54:55.328 StratInOut:nConnected Call(C:4): Setup completed for call from Ext.301 to Ln:30001@PA
13:54:55.328 CallLegImpl:nConnected Call(C:4): Created audio channel for Ext.301 (70.96.174.45:16412) with third party (70.96.174.34:6000)
13:54:52.187 CallConf:nProvisional Call(C:4): got response from 15708885272
13:54:51.671 CallConf:nIncoming Call(C:4): Incoming call from Ext.301 to sip:[email protected]

That is a completed call on my system with an outbound rule to remove the first number. The rule is 3 and one r.

With your messages we should be able to help you better.

Also,

Have you bound the outbound rule to a gateway?

For the local numbers try to dial the full number that includes the area code.

Hi,

As Henk says, if you are using a VOIP provider then the number will not be "local" to their gateway annd probably needs the full code and number.
