Increase disk capacity on Linux PBX

Hi All,

This has been mentioned before but I could not find anything conclusive.

Due to call recordings I have a requirement to increase disk capacity on an Azure hosted Linux 3CX PBX. If I shutdown the VM and increase storage on the OS disk will 3CX automatically pickup the increase when turned on, or would it be better to attach additional storage and move the call recordings off the OS disk?

3CX is an application and as such it doesn't do anything about space outside of you setting a quota. So to answer your question either method will give you more space and 3CX will see it.
