Initial Setup of 3cx-conference-place-700

Hello,

• customer is a bit angry because his SNOM D345 hasn´t got a conference button.
• At the moment I changed the SNOM Adressbook Button to "Conference" in the SNOM Webui and it survived the 3cx 24h reprovisioning. (I know 3cx - SNOM Templates are possible
  
  
• I would like to offer the customer this function: 3cx-conference-place-700
• 3cx > Settings > Conference settings are on default with 70
• but If I call his number from outside with DDI nobody takes the call.
• Is it needed to create a Exentions or a Incoming rule? (70 is free) (customer owns a SIP Trunk with 00-99 Number Block)
• I know Webclient or Windows-Clients offer also a possibility

Do you mean that you would like an outside participant to call the DID of the conference and have the conference call the user?
If so please note that this is not possible. When someone calls into the conference they can either join an ongoing conference or create a new conference room (if they know the pin).
So a caller can enter a already created conference call (scheduled or not) or create new conference room. But for someone else to be able to join that conference room, the conference ID must be known.

Hello,

I just created with 700 a conference from "internal"

1*0000# .... and I heart the Music and that I joined...

Then I called with my mobile phone our number +123 456789-700

But it was ringing at the reception.

As far as I know the settings for this function are on default in our 3cx.

Do you have a dedicated number for conference? Have you created an inbound rule pointing the number to the conference extension?

in my case i dialed 123454678,700

the , comes with holding the * button

If you want calls to go directly to the conference then you need to point a DID to the conference extension.
You could also point the DID to a Digital receptionist and set the option for the callers where they want to go.
