Hi, thanks for the tip, I managed to get it to install no problem after that. I have also managed to get it to work with a mix of Htek handsets and softphone clients and a Grandstream HT813. This was a bit of a trick as its unsupported, I found it would install as a generic SIP Gateway, it had problems registering as a Generic SIP Trunk even with 5062 as the SIP Port. Even though I had the username and password in both the SIP Trunk settings and the FXO page on the ATA it wouldn't register and kept coming back with registration errors when calling even though it was showing as Green in the activation window
I also found the NAT on the 813 had to be turned off and it worked in WAN mode OK given I have a fairly simple network and are not using the LAN port on the ATA. The FXS ports I had to activate as an extension using another handset template and then just put in the MAC address for the box and it activated. It would be useful if there was more complete information on how to use the HT813 as it clearly works ok and is very low cost, its a bit of a minefield though without any basic instructions and several of the quirks I have found are not listed elsewhere in discussion
