Install stops at finishing installation at 16% point. you are preseeding at this point. There is NO error message so I can alter my firewall settings either for ip or ports (i have no ftp, sip, or rtp ports open at this time).
What do I do?

what os? are you restoring a backup?

It's the debian download from your site.
Brand new install.

If you downloaded this iso https://downloads-global.3cx.com/downloads/debian9iso/debian-amd64-netinst-3cx.iso I am assuming you are running this in a supported vm esx, hyperv, kvm or zenserver.

install manual: https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/installing-debian-linux-pbx/

i have never seen it hang on an install, but i have seen it very slow on restores.

btw i am in no way affiliated with 3cx, I am a 3cx customer only.

3cx uses a preseed script. in that script they specify conditions, locations, and methods. It could beanything in that script and/or my firewall is blocking.

Do you like 3cx?

Thank you for caring and responding.

You could try and tail /var/logs/messages in another ssh (i do not know if messages works on debian)
i also like to keep a netstat -c -t up when i am checking on firewall just to see what it is connected to non udp connections.

i like 3cx i use it everyday.
