What exactly has been done to modify the default Debian image on the 3CX ISO?

I need to install on a host that allows me to upload the ISO, but I am curious if using their standard Debian image and installing 3CX via APT would be a better fit.

I assume that they have tweaked their Debian image to optimize it for their platform. So the choice is between their mods or 3CX's mods.

It would be helpful to know if I can perform the same mods to their image that 3CX made to the ISO.

Download the ISO and take a look. The changes are sitting there for all to see. That being said I do all of my installs manually

I did exactly that. But I'm not sure exactly where to look inside the ISO.

Yep, that's the steps I follow
