Hello,
I have been having a very hard time installing 3CX on Windows Server 2012 Essentials.

I keep getting the following errors. I have reformatted the computer, reconfigured my router and have successfully installed
3CX on another machine on the same network. (Although running Windows 8) Could anyone point me in the right direction on
what I am doing wrong.

Thank You!

Try installing while your internet connection is disabled

It seems like port 5060 is being used by another software on Server 2012 essentials according to your post.

Open a Command Prompt as Administrator
netstat -ban | clip

Paste into notepad or some editor. If notepad.. ctrl-home to the top.
ctrl-f to Find.. 5060.

What you are looking for is something like this:
TCP 0.0.0.0:5060 0.0.0.0:0 LISTENING
someprocessname.exe

That will be the process name listed under the port which it is listening on. The port and transport are the knowns here.. the question is what process is listening there.
Disregard the ESTABLISHED lines or the UDP info.

Lync?
Exchange?
"something" is already on the port.
Nothing from a vanilla 2012 Essentials is.

Hi Ian!
Your idea worked great and I have been able to locate the service that is running.
It's from my motherboard (Asus) that has a wifi chip built in - one of the drivers
is using port 5060 as a Wifi Go! Server. I will stop the service and hopefully be
able to get my install working.

Thank You!
Kristopher
