Ever since I upgraded to v18, my cloud instance of 3cx has been down. I've tried resetting the VM and creating a new one but I cannot GUI in. Public IP pings but no GUI. SSH shows that 3cx firewall failed to start. Anyone have suggestions?

Access the machine via SSH and issue the following command

Code:
systemctl list-units 3CX* postgresql* nginx*

Check and make sure all the services are started.

4 units loaded 1 failed which is the firewall, everything else is loaded

Then this does not seem to be correct. Can you send the screenshot of the output to double-check?

a new fresh instance on google cloud is showing similar errors when I try to start services. I cannot even get a new instance up for backup

There is most definitely a problem with the machine. this is what you should see

I suggest redeploying and that you make sure you are using a supported deployment method which is through portal.3cx.com to deploy to google.

It sounds like the backup is corrupt, and you may now need to consider setting this up from scratch.
