Good evening,
I have to integrate the PBX into my Windows application, not a web application

I have two needs:
  1. start calls directly from the application
  2. when a phone call arrives from a number that is in the archive, to display the customer name
Solutions:
1.To answer the first request, I use a link like this type
https://mionome.my3cx.it/webclient/#/call?phone=123456
which opens a page with the number, the user just has to start the call

2. To answer the second point I found this guide
https://www.3cx.com/docs/crm-integration/
where it is indicated as the only solution to create a Web service that allows communication with the PBX
I guess when the user answers a phone call, your PBX queries the web services to get the caller details

or are there other specific solutions for a windows application?

Thank you
Stefano

can it be an authentication problem?
I set up no authentication

I set up no authentication
No, it's not the authentication, the error message is clear, the problem is the self signed certificate not being trusted.

I believe there is no solution

Your web app use operating system level certificate authority store ?

The certificate validation is being performed by the .NET Core implementation. So it's the standard validation for any .NET Core application...

I don't know what else to try
have you ever tested this solution in a local environment?

Try installing a valid certificate, you can get a free certificate from Let's Encrypt...

localhost connection does not work despite the SSL
now I'm trying to integrate with SQL Server
Should this connection string work?
Server = 192.168.1.1,1521; Database = Database; User Id = c3x; Password = 1234;

For SSL you need a domain name. Neither localhost or the IP address will work.

That will depend on how you configured your database.... You can get a connection string for your database here: https://www.connectionstrings.com/

Also, there are other things you need to check, like firewalls, and if you configured your database to accept remote connections, just to name a few...

I will evaluate if to distribute the web service on an internet domain
if it is possible to use SQL Server it would be the best solution

I got the connection string from there
https://www.connectionstrings.com/microsoft-data-sqlclient/using-a-non-standard-port/

firewall disabled, remote connections allowed
web service access the db with same connection string, 3cx console gives me this message:

"3CX Management console is not responding. This may be be a browser issue - Clear your browser cache, refresh and try again."
I have tried cleaning the cache and also with other browsers

That's weird... Try restarting the management console service.
Or, check with a real call, and check the 3cxSystemService.log file.

It's ok, you have to use wan ip

should it also work with the local ip?

Where are you using the WAN IP address? If you're connecting from the LAN, it shouldn't be necessary.
