We currently have an NEC Aspire phone system. I am looking to add a the 3CX system to a new location to start our conversion to VoIP. Is there a way to be able to get both systems to interact in someway. I am wanting to be able to dial an extension on the NEC from the 3cx and vice versa. The new location will have a PRI for outbound calls so if you know of a good PRI card that I can install on my box and is supported by 3cx i would also appreciate the info.

Thanks.

Re: Inter-acting with an old PBX

Hi,

This posting may be a help but what you are trying to achieve is quite complex http://www.3cx.com/forums/integrating-a-legacy-pabx-with-3cx-10542.html

If you search on google you'll probably find a few more generic documents relarting to this. If you have success then please post this on the forum so we can share this.

I think the only reommended card to meet your needs is the Sangoma A101 Here is the article from the Gateway configuration guide relating to this http://www.3cx.com/voip-gateways/sangoma.html
