Hi,

We have installed 5 Siedle intercoms at different doors of our company.
The siedle system has 1 analog line connected to an ATA adapter.
All 5 intercoms are dailing with the same internal phone number.
All intercoms are dailing to different groups.

For example intercom 1 is dailing to a group office
intercom 2 is dailing to a group warehouse ......

The problem what we are facing, is that we don't know on which door the call is made, because they are all coming from the same extenstion.

Is there any way to solve this ?
I have tried to create an extention DOOR WAREHOUSE and emmediately foward that extention to a group. I hoped to see the extention someware on my phone, but I just saw the origingal extention from where the call was made.

Does anyone know a solution for this ?

Can you not assign each ata adapter different extensions?

No, there is only 1 ATA adapter , and the intercom system only has 1 line.

If your old intercom system only supports a single analog line (to be shared amongst all doorphones from a common control panel), then there is nothing you can do.

I would suggest to look at newer, SIP-based supported models:

They can be configured with custom codes, provide video via the Webclient (or deskphones that accept video) and are generally more feature rich than plain analog systems.

The only way I could see this (possibly) working the way you want, if the door system allows, is to have each door, dial a different extension number. If you send each of those calls to different ring group (each containing the same members), it may pick up the RG name. The originating extension number, however, may very well remain the same.
