Hello Everyone,

Recently we upgraded 2 clients to the newest 15.5.15502.6 version. After upgrading everything works fine except for one thing. The intercoms keep losing audio. We use Snom PA1s for the intercom hardware and the extension is a remote extension that is provisioned through a 3CX SBC (remote). We have PBX delivers audio checked as well. The weird thing is that a reboot will get the intercom working for a little bit then boom nothing. When a user calls the extension it beeps when it connects but then no audio comes out. I took a look at verbose logs on both the 3CX and the snoms and see the calls are connecting just fine. Does anyone have any ideas on what else to check?

Thanks

Hello Craig,

Thanks for the reply. All ports should be open the router in our data center has connections to the remote site router with rules of anything coming from the PBX ip going to the site goes through and vice versa. The interesting thing is that any other internal calls to phone extensions work just fine it is just the intercom that stops working.

As Craig said, check the ports. The first statemented certainly sounds like all of the additional ports required, are not open, and "should be open' , tells me that you need to confirm this.

Thank you both for your assistance. It turns out it wasn't the firewall but the Snom itself was not using the correct RTP ports. I manually changed them to match your suggestions and it seems to be working now. Fingers crossed.

Glad to see the issue has been resolved and thank you for updating the thread. Keep an eye on the issue and let us know if you face any more issues.
