Intercom Setup

Hi,

We are trying to setup an intercom solution for a school, but do not know how to set up intercom to work with IP phones so that you don't need to log into a webclient.

May we have some assistance?

If you are trying to place intercom calls between 3CX connected phones, you dial *7<ext #>. I believe it is configured by default, but you can check under Settings / Dial Codes / Paging. I have BLFs configured as speed dials for intercoming the other extensions on my home 3CX system.

If you are trying to intercom / page to external speakers, there are SIP connected intercom or paging systems. A quick search will find you lots of options.
