Hello,

We have been up and running in our environment with no issues when placing outbound calls for about three weeks. Today we've been experiencing a situation where when an outbound (to SIP trunk) call is placed and fails most of time, but completes sometimes. There is no pattern, sometimes a call sets up correctly on the first try, sometime it take six tries. On the fails, the phone looks as if it's trying to make an outbound call (on our Fanvil phones the arrows display) but there is silence and the destination end does not ring. Trying to place the outbound call multiple times back-to-back it will finally setup (the destination rings) and the call complete normally. We have plenty of room on 3CX simultaneous calls and concurrent SIP calls. Any thoughts on what could trigger something like this happening with no changes to the environment? It's harder to triage as sometimes calls setup correctly and sometimes they don't.

Could you provide any suggestions on logging in the Hosted environment to try to debug this?

Could this be a temperamental firewall? I reviewed the firewall settings document for 3CX, but it appears that is for a on-premise installation. Is there a guide for recommended firewall settings when Hosted? We are in a SonicWall environment if there is specific information available.

Thanks,
Mike

Do you experience the same issue if you use the 3CX Web Client, Desktop App or mobile clients?

No issues using the 3CX app on iOS.

The phones are provisioned behind an SBC?

Yes, actually three router phones each acting as an SBC. We have 27 physical phones. We are awaiting shipment of the Raspberry Pi device that will act as our single SBC in the near future.

How many phones are provisioned behind each router phone?

Each router phone has between 7-9 phones behind it.

This issue requires further investigation as we will need to review further logs. I would suggest that you create a ticket to the Support Team to proceed from there.

Thank you. Am I am to open a ticket by just being a customer? Or, do I need to look into the "Buy Support" option before opening a ticket?
