Internal and external paging via 1 button

Trying to figure out a way NOT USING MULTICAST to page all the phones and an external amp at the same time. Cannot use multicast as it is at a remote office. I am almost to the point of going old school and tapping the speaker of a cheap yealink phone. Has anyone used any magic devices?

The Snom PA1 should work for you. It acts just like an extension that auto answers. Google "snom pa1" and there are several videos that will show you.

I'm assuming you are talking about one remote site with a pbx in the cloud. If that is correct Multicast is still possible and the recommended method to page multiple devices.

I see two options. Option one is with custom templates you can configure a BLF key on the phone to produce the multicast page and the phones to receive it as well as any SIP speakers. Since the multicast will all happen locally it will work fine and you don't rely on 3CX ring group multicast which as you said won't pass over from cloud pbx to phones/speakers. For the AMP use as Sean said the Snom PA1 to connect the multicast to the amp. Cheap and awesome. We do the custom templates for Multicast with Yealink and it works great.

Option two is hardware. Algo solutions have what you want. They can receive a SIP page from the 3CX Cloud Server and then broadcast Multicast locally to the phones and other SIP speakers so it all goes out as one page simultaneously.

Since it's multicast it should work with properly configured telephones as well.
