When making a call to my Digital Receptionist the call fails, with the voice telling me the destination is unreachable.
In the activity logs I see the following message:
C:1 Failed to build divert target EndCall.DisabledByFwdRule; fail reason = NotAvailable
Hi
in case this thread is still open?
- can you clarify if you have done any simple call flow debug scenario already?
- for example, don't test first with the Digital reception as the endpoint for the call flow.
- rather first a simple thing such as (single DID) > bound onto a single EXT
- make sure that EXT is active softphone client or web client agent
- make sure that EXT may dial outbound to an external number / call flows as expected.
- then do test inbound call from that EXT > make sure it rings to this EXT/client device properly
- then try to setup your IVR/Digital reception, bind the DID to that, re-test the flow for inbound call.
If things are not misconfigured, the call should simply flow painlessly
(ie, you have a greet message recorded and uploaded? test play of IVR greet is good? a few possible actions configured in the IVR? such as 'press 1 to get to my active EXT?" ?
I can possibly give a few more light-bulb testing debug suggestions if that might be helpful.
sometimes by having a dialog around what you have / not tried - might be all that is necessary for you to find the solution presenting itself to you (?)
