Internal ring tone

Good morning,

I know this has been asked over and over but wondered if something new has been sorted.

Before I go down the route of using local contacts per phone, is there any easier way to change the ringtone.

The term "internal ringtone" is not quite correct in 3CX. IP Phone ringtones work as such:

External Call - This is not configurable and plays when you receive an external call.

Queue Ringtone - This is configurable from the MC and plays for all queue calls. Can be customized per queue if needed.

Default Ringtone - This is configurable the MC and plays for all the rest of the calls.

Playback IVR - This is not configurable and plays when you receive a call from the system to play a recording for example, or to listen to an audio file (rarely used, not really relevant to your question and can be ignored for now).

Managed to work around it by changing the default ringtone. Though, in this case the customer doesnt use RGs.
