Solved International dialing from UK

Hi,

I am trying setup international dialling from the UK, in particular at the moment Spain.

I have been into Settings > Security Settings > Allowed Country Codes and selected all of Europe.

I have then created the following outbound rule (Which is the bottom outbound rule)


I get the error "Call failed, not found" from the windows softphone

And in the logs:
SIP Server/Call Manager ID: 12294
Call or Registration to 00346280*****@(Ln.10000@Gamma (3CX SIP Port 5060 required)) has failed. xx.xx.58.15 replied: 404 Not Found; from IP:xx.xx.58.15:5060

I contacted the SIP provider who said international calls are not blocked.
Can anyone see where i am going wrong?

Is the From: IP the providers IP? If so they should be able to tell you why the number was not found.
Can you call that number from your mobile device? (to make sure the number is valid)

Commonly the error is returned when the user being called does not exist in the domain specified.
It is normally going to be the the number dialled either does not have a route or is in the wrong format.

I guess Gamma do not have a way of tracing on their platform ? some reputable providers do.

Hi Guys,

after following your advice I rang them again to see why it was being blocked and it turns out they was blocking international calls in the end after telling me it should already work by default so false alarm!
