We've had an issue over the last couple of weeks that suddenly appeared with our iOS app users. They'll hear beeps after less than a minute in a call and it will attempt to reconnect. Sometimes it's successful, but mostly the call will drop shortly afterwards. Everyone was working perfectly before, but not now. I believe I found a workaround by disabling the "Wi-Fi Assist" option in the iPhone's cellular settings. I'm not sure why that works when their connection is solid (and when Wi-Fi is disabled and they're using the cell network), but it seems to.
Our server is hosted on premises and it completely up to date. It's a Windows VM running on a Hyper-V cluster. It's behind a Meraki firewall on Unifi network switches. All the desk phones, web clients, and Android apps appear to work correctly. It was just the iOS ones that were having trouble.
Was there anything that changed on that app a couple weeks ago? Has anyone else had the same issues? This is with a variety of iPhone models, all running the latest iOS.
