(search isn't working right now...)

I have 2 users with the iOS app. One can dial outbund the other can not. I can't find the difference between the two configs. When I dial a number (in the sample below 1215XXXXXX) In the dashboard it tells me:

Call or Registration to 1215XXXXXXX@(Ln.10001@Flowroute) has failed. XX.XX.XX.XX replied: 404 No routes found - [email protected]; from IP:X.X.X.X:5060

So it looks like the outbound rule is working, but for some reason, it doesn't register.

Suggestions?

Who's the provider? Is it supported by 3CX?

This looks like a provider issue.

That's an interesting thought. Why would one iOS app work and the other not? The carrier is flowroute, btw. I wouldn't think they would know the difference about who was making the call.

Contact the provider and have them check.

The error looks like a unreachable number or you're out of channels. "No routes found"...

Hello,

I hope you tried the basics, like uninstalling the app, reinstalling and reprovisioning. Do that that first if you haven't already.

If the above fails then use the following method:

  1. Create a new extension for testing purposes
  2. Provision the extension on a good phone and make an external call to ensure it works
  3. Then provision that same extension on the problematic user's phone and call the exact same external number to see if it works.

It's not clear if the problem is the extension, or the destination number so maybe your problem is not that they cannot make calls, it may be that they cannot call a specific 1215XXXXXXX number.
