IP Phone Firmware Updates

Ten days later, there are still no release notes regarding the update to 96.87.0.22....
Neither on the 3CX website nor on the Yealink website.
We would like more transparency regarding the changes made.

The one thing I saw discussed in the forum is that it fixes issues with large phonebook xml files causing the phone to perform slow.

Hello John,

Sorry I was unable to reply yesterday as I did not make it into the office. I am in today, and was able to check on the URL test you mentioned. Once I clicked on the Upgrade button, and then grabbed the URL out of the config file, I was able to successfully test downloading the firmware from my computer. That is great since it shows the file is indeed there on the 3CX server. Now the question is why our Yealink phones don't seem to like it. I will have to dig some more.

Thank you, Cam.

@sygnet1 - and as John recommended earlier, a ticket with Yealink is probably a good idea.

Folks, just to follow up on our situation for those who might be curious. We ended up just updating our two phones manually (via the phone admin page). All of our other clients on v20 with Yealink phones did update successfully using the 3CX interface, so the issue was just with our own 3CX server and phones. Sorry I did not get to a final answer. However, the most important thing was most of our phones did update normally.
