I have two iPhones linked to my 3CX account. After a period of time, if one of the IPhones does not use the 3CX system then it shows as ‘not registered’ until a call is made from that IPhone.
is it possible to stop the IPhone from going into the ‘not registered’ state?
Thank you

@fiachra
You have to check in the client's menu top right button current status (say Available) and there, on the bottom of the page, turn ON the "Accept PUSH notifications" option.

OK, thank you, Current status is Avialable, but can’t find the “Accept push notifications“

You have to expand the Available, to see/access its settings, there's the "Accept PUSH notifications".

Thank you sir…found it now

Found it, found it... but it solved the problem?

The selections were already as you advise. The IPhone normally changes to ‘not registered’ state after a number of days of inactivity with that phone. I will monitor it for a few days and see.

That's the expected behavior. PBX has a 7-days registration timeout for push notification service; if the client does not connect to the PBX during this interval, the PBX will unregister it and will stop sending push (ie incoming calls and notifications). On status the extension appears as "gray" in case there are no other devices registered to the same extension (hardphones or softphones).

Thank you. That explains it.
Is there any way to extend the timeout period?

Currently no - this is a topic which generated a lot of debate and it's still in debate.
