Hi

Have 3cx working fine with pennytel VSP and using 3cx softphone
was wondering
Is it possible to connect to 3cx from a sip phone client on the iphone connected wirelessly to the same network
have tried using siphon on the iphone setting server to 3cx address 192.168.2.100 as well as proxy server to the same address
when i run softphone application it says connected but when i dial 3cx softphone rings no matter what number i dial

server activity log is as follows

any suggestions on how to get this working would be appreciated if this is possible or am i wasting my time

thanks

By iPhone, you mean an IP application running on an Apple device? Which device has IP 127.0.0.1, something is wrong there. It is saying :Device Not Identified: User Agent not matched, which I interpret as... it isn't going to work the way you currently have it configured. Does the phone say it is registered on the handset? Can you query what IP the handset thinks it has? WiFi phones will work on the 3CX, I've got 3 of them working, if the iPhone application is standard SIP then there is no reason that it won't work.

Yes i meant an ip application running on the iphone - application name is "Siphon" loaded onto jailbroken iphone using Cydia
- have now got it working - had an error in the extension setting's (user error) also had to change codec setting from auto to G.711(u-law) to alleviate poor voice quality
