Hello All,

Looking for help and guidance. I have both Vtiger 9 and 3CX 18, integration works fine without any hitch. However, I will like to be able to make calls directly from inside Vtiger, I don't seem to see much info or manual about this. Is there a manual somewhere I can follow through please. Or does this have to be a custom integration.

Thank you all.

Vtiger provides "tel:" links for phone numbers, so if you have the 3CX Desktop app or the 3CX Windows client installed, you should be able to make calls with it.

Thanks @edossantos for the quick response.

I'm curious when will 3CX be in the list, cause of users who will like to stay in the CRM because of it's OneView features.

The users actually use Mozilla Firefox and this doesn't work as you said.

3CX uses a different approach for the integration. It uses the Vtiger REST API to externally query the information needed, so we don't provide anything that you can install in the CRM.

The browser shouldn't be a problem. Do you see the "tel:" links in the browser status bar when you hover the contact's number in the CRM? What happens when you click on that link? What 3CX client are you using to make calls? Please note that you must use the 3CX Desktop app or the 3CX Windows client, which are the ones supporting the "tel:" protocol. Also, please ensure that the "tel:" protocol is associated to the client you're using. You can check this from the Control Panel > Programs > Default Programs > Associate a file type or protocol with a program > Choose default apps by protocol > TEL Protocol. For example:
