Is it possible to disable Remote Extensions? Or someway bind extensions to only be allowed to be registered from an IP address within the same subnet?

Are you talking about a remote that is the duplicate of a local extension? Is it someone taking their set/ATA home with them, at times, to use?

What is the purpose to do it for the authorized users? Could you please describe "business/use" case?
"Firewall" provides you with ability to filter traffic, doesn't it?
