Is it possible to lower incoming chat message notification volume?

The ding that happens before or when you recieve a chat message in 3cx is really loud for me. Is there anyway to lower that volume without lowering the volume of the entire application?

Hello @JBrekke ,

You can manage it from Windows Volume Mixer settings. You can specify explicitly the sound volume that Chrome delivers.

Sorry i should've specified I'm looking for volume control for specifically the incoming chat volume on the 3cx windows client, not the web app.

The sample applies and to Windows Application. You will see in the Volume mixer a separate entry for the Windows Application. From that, you can control the volume of that application only.

Will this effect call volume as well? Just specifically looking for chat message volume.

No this is not possible. The audio control will adjust the volume of the application as a whole.
