I just upgraded from v18 to v20.
none of my trunks will register on voip.ms.
I am hosting on AWS.
The log shows is not reachable, DNS error resolving FQDN, or service is not available.

I also tried to restore V18 from a full backup I made just before upgrade ro V20

Can you please clarify the error in the event log?
The issue was the same in V18 as well?

Registration at 123.456.7890 has failed. Destination (sip:XXXXXX.voip.ms:5061;transport=TLS;lr;maddr=000.000.00.0) is not reachable, DNS error resolving FQDN, or service is not available.
This is he same error for all my trunks.
V18 was working properly before the upgrade.
Everything else appears to be working as expected locally.
calling extention to extention, etc

Can you please check again and let me know if you still experience any issue?

I would also though suggest checking why the transport type is set to TLS, this trunk is not tested or supported for SIP TLS, so can also suggest to delete and recreate the trunk with the default settings.

I deleted and recreated one of the trunks. Same issue.
Where is the transport set?
VOIP.MS doesn't see any attempts to connect.
Everything was working properly before moving from the latest V18 to V20
And now the system can not receive or make external calls.
I Can't go back to V18

I have deleted and recreated all the trunks.
They are registered, but I can't receive or make calls

This the error I am getting on outbound;
Call or Registration to 1xxx999xxxx@([email protected]) has failed. sip:xxx.xxx.XX.xx:5060;lr replied: Not Acceptable Here (488)

You have to ask the trunk provider why they are sending a 488.

I checked with VOIP.MS and the issue was the trunks were set for encryption on the provider side.
I disabeled enceyption and now everything seems to be working properly.
Doesn't V20 support encryption?

These trunks are not set by default for TLS, and they have not been tested as such. v20 does have the capabilities for SIP TLS, but this needs to be set up correctly with the correct certificates.

Can you suggest when I can look for the SIP TLS information.
Thank you for your help
