Is the 3CX App for Windows going to be upgraded for/to v18?

Hi, I have been upgrading clients to v18 and have had a number ask if the App for Windows is going to be upgraded for/to v18? In the 3CX Welcome Email the link for the App for Windows references v16 and has not changed. I know it can be used with v18 and there is the new web client and desktop app but the App for Windows has the Switchboard and different views in it. I know in the web client and desktop app there is the panel view but it is not the same layout. Any idea where the App for Windows is headed? Thanks.

The legacy Windows client will not receive new features beside bug fixes but does still work and is still supported on v18.

Everyone strongly recommends going DesktopApp tho! Not much is missing from it (outside of drag&drop.)
