Is there a wasy to default the "select interface" in phone provisioning

Hi All

I need to bulk add phones into the HotDesking screen - but we put our phones on a separate VLAN. Is there a way to default the "select interface" drop down, to save time?

Hi Millsey,

Check the CSV file and see if this setting is in the file, this is the best method for bulk adding:

Thanks Edd - unfortunately HotDesking extensions are now split from standard extensions so I cannot import them in bulk. I will be using export and reimport of extensions to bulk adjust extension settings as I am migrating from 14.5

Hi Millsey,

Yes you are right, apologies I missed that you were using hotdesking - they are separate. I think you maybe a little stuck on this one unless something exists in the parameters:

Settings >> parameters: search a key work (interface for example).

Thanks - the parameter DEFAULTLOCALIP appears to regulate this - does anyone know if this parameter is only used to determine the default selection?

So the interface should be the same regardless of the VLAN the phones are in. That's a network routing decision. Unless you are trying to say that your phones are in a different VLAN AND we have a separate network interface on the 3CX box I want them to reach 3CX on. But then that begs the question if your phones are in that VLAN why not just have the default 3CX interface in that VLAN....
