Hi All,

Been searching high and low and came up short. Thus I am giving the mighty community a run for its money,... ;)

I did find 3CX CDR Processing programs like CallSequitur and such, but there must be an easier way I reckon. We would love to report on trunk channels usage throughout the day. This doesn't seem to be easy. I can actually do this with the trunking provider, but when using multiple trunks this becomes a bit sketchy.

In short. Can I report on trunk channel usage? Or PBX limit usage? RTP Streams?

This would be mighty helpful,
Cheers everyone,
Tommie

I reckon CallSequitur is the easiest, but then I'm biased! Is this the kind of thing you want (I've masked the trunk provider name):

Can I run this with cloud instances? Since my PBX's are on AWS instances.

Cheers,
Tommie

I've not tried this, but in principle I would suppose you can so long as you have IP connectivity from a standard Windows PC on your premises to the 3CX CDR service on the PBX running on AWS. Port 5015 is usually a good one to use for the CDR service since, at least on a standard Debian install, this port is left open. I'd be interested to know your feedback on this!

Hi Cjay,

Does not seem to be open, nor closed. At least not listening. PBX was started with pbx express. Maybe it did some firewalling on the instance. Will investigate this!

Cheers, Tommie

CDR service enabled?

Excellent. BTW I always recommend that, if possible, you run CallVitesse as an intermediate buffer between your PBX and wherever you run CallSequitur (it can even be on the same machine), but ideally on an always on Windows PC/server. It's a very small program that is essentially just A CDR relay.

Makes sense... The problem was a AWS Instance firewall btw... ;) Opening port 5015 made it work like a charm. Still have to figure out my trunk id? But will start testing this. How much for a license?

Don't know if you figured the trunk ID? In SIP trunks start typing 1000.. in the search box and you'll be able to identify the ID's:

Figured it out, but still was a bit sketchy since it doesn't really show the id. Thus I had to rule out any following digits with trial and error... :)
