Is there a Windows API?

Here it is said:

The 3CX Windows API is available for PRO/Enterprise customers and developers to integrate their applications with the 3CX softphone app. The API allows for such functions as launching calls from the application, receiving notifications about call status and more.

What does it refer to? Some software one can use to integrate with a third party app on the same machine? Just a software to receive calls and notifications? Or it just refers to the CRM integration template and CDRs?

That refers to the old Windows client, which is not being developed anymore. I think that page should be updated to remove it...
