Hi, we have 2 SIP trunks in our on premise 3CX server (v15.5). One for our VoIP provider and one to a Patton device that connects to ISDN line with 20 numbers on it.

As we wish to move away from the ISDN line I've requested the ISDN numbers be ported to our existing VoIP SIP trunk. My question is what do I need to reconfigure in our 3cx server.
Outbound calls already route through VoIP.
I presume I need to add Inbound rules on the VoIP SIP trunk that duplicate the ones on the ISDN sip trunk?
Is there anything else I should be checking?

Many Thanks, Seb

You'll configure them in your VOIP provider control panel and specify how they'll be formatted and sent to your PBX (if applicable).

Then in your SIP Trunk in 3CX you will add those new numbers in the DIDs menu and finally create your Inbound Rules for your new numbers.

Thank you kieferschild.
I'll add the DIDs and Inbound Rules and hope for the best when numbers switch over.

Many Thanks,
Seb

Hi Seb,

Just FYI 15.5 has reached end of life so it would also be a good idea to plan ahead and migrate to V16.

Let us know if you have any questions and we will be glad to assist with your migration.
