isdn30 (pri) to sip converter recomendation

Hello,
I am new to the forum and loving the 3cx.
I have a client who wants a 3CX but they currently have PRI (isdn30) with 16 channels.
Can anyone recommend a comparable pri to sip converter?

i have done a general search however compatibility isnt really touched upon.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

These are the (currently) supported gateways. It doesn't mean that something else won't work, it will simply not be "officially" supported. This means that provisioning it will not be automatic, and you will be on your own if problems arise.

It will come down to...how familiar you are with SIP, how much time and effort are you willing to put into this to make it work, is the manufacturer willing to help in supporting the device working with 3CX?

I recommend Patton as a brand, they are rock solid and are supported by 3CX (the ones specified in the above link). The smartware/supported range are EOL however so you will need to see if you can still get your hands on them as they have been replaced with Trinity OS models (which are supported by Patton directly - they can provide templates for 3CX).

There are beroNet models which are supported also but I personally find the build and quality of these gateways come up 2nd to Patton.

Another option, convert the numbers and ddi’s to sip trunks / lines if their internet links has the capacity

This is always an option except in some countries which for various reasons ban VoIP traffic and have to use ISDN, a lot of countries in the middle East for example do this.
