Issue after v20 upgrade

Hi all, after upgrading to v20 I am noticing strange behavior with some users.
They cannot receive calls on the web app unless their mobile app is provisioned. Same thing with outbound calls, on the web app it only works if the mobile app is provisioned.


Has anyone else faced the same problem?

That doesnt make any sence... You cant call or receive calls with the webclient without the Mobile App provisioned? What is the extension status without the mobile app? Did you allowed all notifications on the webclient?

It is super weird indeed. Neither inbound or outbound calls work on the web app when the mobile app is not provisioned.
When I set the status away on the mobile app the calls stop, all normal. When I remove the app provisioning from the phone calls stop.

Take some screenshots from the webclient without the mobile app.

All you have to do is enable notifications on the web client.

Did you allowed all notifications on the webclient?

That is the same what i think is the problem.

That looks ok, is this without an registered mobile app?

Yes its super wierd. The windows app works fine as well.
Anyways I will investigate more and update the thread when I find the root cause. I hoped someone else saw this before.

If this is the web client of the extension that doesn't work you do NOT have notifications active. Please press the blue bell icon on the top left, as shown in my screenshot above.

Oh yes, i was blind... that is the thing we are talking about. you need to allow the notifications.

Damn it was the notification indeed. I feel dumb now.
