Issue with creating conference calls on Snom 760/765s

Hi all,

We've got an issue with our Snom 760/765 phones not creating conference calls. The Snom 820/821s all seem to have no problem with this.
The provisioning templates are virtually identical for the phones.

I tested swapping a phone from one type to the other on my line and the issue was persistent - only the 76Xs are having the problem.

We are using 3CX server version 12.5.44178.1002.

Just hoping this is a simple fix someone might be able to clue me in on.

Just an update to this. The issue don't seem to be SNOM phone model related, but a firmware issue.

Further testing confirms the conference function works with firmware up to 8.7.3.25 on all 800 and 700 SNOM models, but is broken for all phones running 8.7.5.x versions.

It appears from the 3CX log the firmware 8.7.5.x is generating a different/incorrect route to the conference extension
8.7.3.25 connects to the conference extension via <sip:700**[email protected]:5060>
8.7.5.35 attempts to connect to the conference extension via <sip700**228:5060> giving "Not Found" on the deskphone.


Any assistance with this is appreciated.
