Hi,

I have a problem with incoming calls from my VOIP-provider. They only occur when the provider routes calls from his own VOIP-customers, not "ordinary" PSTN calls. However, this seems to work when a 3CX customer calls a 3CX customer but not otherwise.

I see nothing in my log, but the provider receives this message from my server;

SIP MESSAGE 43 213.x.x.x:5060(sip3.xxxx.com) -> 91.xx.xx.xx:5060() UDP Frame 43 6/Sep/10 14:15:0.9116 TimeFromPreviousSipFrame=0.0001 TimeFromStart=866.7305 SIP/2.0 407 Proxy Authentication Required Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 91.90.24.141:5060;branch=z9hG4bK07090861;rport=5060 Proxy-Authenticate: Digest nonce="414d535c02956c5c44:556316fe5848e291d01c99f7deb84085",algorithm=MD5,realm="3CXPhoneSystem" To: <sip:[email protected]>;tag=21512a7f From: "040xxxxxx"<sip:[email protected]>;tag=as2920132c Call-ID: [email protected] CSeq: 103 INVITE User-Agent: 3CXPhoneSystem 9.0.13677.0 Content-Length: 0

So my server sends a 407-message to him when routing VOIP calls, but not otherwise. After that (and a lot more traffic) my server finally sends him SIP/2.0 401 Unauthorized

I've examined another configuration of a 3CX v7 installation that works and I cannot find any differences that would explain this behaviour other than the version. This problem is not just for my installation.. I noticed that he's using different host names for the same IP, but it works when ordinary calls are coming in, so it shouldn't matter I suppose..

Provider is set up as Generic VOIP provider (no outbound proxy defined).

Any suggestions are welcome :P

Hi,

I've tried this (this was actually already set up that way).
