I have followed the instruction on this page. https://www.3cx.com/3cxacademy/videos/advanced/3cx-bridge-configuration/
I have setup a master and slave and both end are GREEN.
On the outbound rule on each i leave it blank. because i have set this up as the following:
site1 = extension 200,201,202,203,204,205
site2 = extension 300.301.302.303,304,305.

So i picked up the phone from extension 300 and press 200 and it say temporary unavaiable. Any ideas what I did wrong? Please advise on what to do to test it .

thank you

i went into Presence as stated and enter the receive information remote.ca.3cx.us:5001 in there and click on ADD and i add in my local extension in there.

Hi Song,

This means that you have no matching outbound rule to reach the other trunk, or no route at all.

So basically when you dial 200, the PBX did not find it on its own list, and replied temporarily unavailable.

Can you please show a screenshot of the outbound rule you created?

Try like this for example on both PBXs and just change the prefix from a 2 to a 3 depending on which side it calling which. Put this rule on the very top to be the first one to match while testing

John that worked!! thank you!! didn't know I have to setup an outbound rule if both location have seperated block of extension 200,300. I thought only if site have the same extension then I know we have to setup a outbound rule example 9200 to get there. Maybe I missed that step in the doc. Thank you again. SOLVED!!

Having done with separate ranges gives you oppotunity to dial directly remote extension without the need to set one digit more for a prefix

in all the case you need rules but if range is the same each side then you 're obliged to set a prefix

Glad to help!
