Hello you wonderful people,
I have a hosted 3CX instance (with 3cx) and I am having issues with a remote phone.
Current Setup:
- 3CX Hosted by 3CX.
- Yealink T42s (STUN) (Extension 1000) situated at my home address - Works fine, no issues.
- Yealink T41s (STUN) (Extension 1003) in an office - serviced office, the infrastructure it plugs into is on its own VLAN - this is the phone with an issue.
Both phones have PBX Delivers Audio.
When i configured the Yealink T41s, I did this at my home address and could get it to work no problem at all before shipping it to the remote office. We have no other phones in this office.
When we plug in the T41s, it provisions and i can see it under 'phones' and the extension goes green under 'extensions'. The strangest of things happened, when that phone was plugged in all of a sudden I got a load of;
"03/11/2020 09:05:01 - [CM102001]: Authentication failed for AuthFail Recv Req REGISTER from 129.232.167.213:64885 tid=523748141 Call-ID=1802290657-1677141492-1111711074:"
This resulted in the 3CX security protocol to kick in and block the IP (I have unblocked the IP for purposes of testing).
The Issue:
The issue i am facing is that when calling the extension (1003) ,it takes a while for it start calling, but the phone will ring, and when the phone is picked up it will say 'call failed' on my handset. The extension can not make any outbound calls either.
I know there are alot of logs, so please let me know what log to provide. Did a verbose log on me calling the extension which i can provide on request.
Also this office is in London and I'm in Manchester so its quite difficult to do on site diagnosis.
My Guess:
My guess it is a firewall issue from the serviced office, but i do not know for sure and I need to be quite explicit and clear with them as serviced offices can be difficult to work with at times.
Kind regards,
James
