Hi Guys.

Im currently making some changes to a 3cx I look after.

An Standard mode Ivr has been put in place with two options:
1. Connects to Reception call Queue
2. Connect to day time voicemail.

Two issues I have, even with the office times and breaks setup, the IVR still kicks in

Also there voicemail forwarding rules for different announcements for day, lunch and night don't alternate properly either.

Its possible I have missed something simple, any advice would be hugely appricicated.

You need to route the incoming call to a dummy extension, where you have configured the correct routing

If you have Pro or Ent license, you can use CFD

HI Guys.

Thanks for this, how ever im still having issues.

The primary inbound for during office hours goes to an IVR
The Primary inbound for out of office hours should go to voicemail extension.

Surely the inbound rule works of the global office hours.

This doesn't work.

Any advice would be hugely appreciated

is the system set to use default office hrs https://www.3cx.com/docs/pbx-dial-codes/ - Force 3CX IN or OUT of Office – Emergency Code

double check your office hours

on the sip trunk, call routing is configured correct for in office hrs. Out of office hrs

Like @Saqqara mentioned, best way to do this is via a dummy extension with extension specific times set up so it switches to states according to those times.
In the call forwarding part simply state where you want the call to go according to the extension states you have set up.
